At Salutem Connect, we are passionate about augmenting care.

CARE AWARE

We know by colliding today’s technology to the traditional challenges of care, we can improve how care is provided and the quality of care in all settings.

Assisted connected care

I love my independence and living in my own home, but I want the confidence that someone will be there if I need them

Augmented sensed care

I work the nightshift and I know some of my patients need me more than others, but I need to know all my patients are actively being monitored

Always connected care

We need to be able to provide remote care, take readings, perform monitoring and consultations with our patients even when they are not in our presence

A world in crisis

Global events of 2020 have shown us that we live in a highly connected and fragile world. Everything related to care has been placed under immense pressure with the need adapt, respond and innovate so critical in saving lives. Our government, hospitals, aged care providers and all the organisations involved in supporting them have a need to work collaboratively, efficiently and seamlessly like never before.

Access to timely information, intelligent logistics and safe work environments are crucial.

Australia’s aging population

In Australia we are all living much longer, our life expectancy now exceeds 80. With this increase in life expectancy so does the need to treat more patients with chronic illnesses, further placing pressure on our precious hospital resources.

Australians have gained an additional 25 years of life expectancy over a century, or more spectacularly – three months of life for every 12 months of time!

With an aging population comes an aging work force. The aged care workforce sector is the oldest in the country with a median age of 48 for a residential direct care worker. In the next 15 years, half of the aged care workforce will be at retirement age themselves.
